In the modern world, a belief has quietly grown among some people who insist that religion, spirituality, philosophy, intuition, values and the deeper experiences of the human heart are meaningless illusions. For them, only what science can measure and verify is real. Everything else is dismissed as unreal. At first this appears to honor science, yet a deeper look reveals a significant misunderstanding. Science is vast, but not infinite. It is a brilliant beam of light, but never the entire sky. Science can create extraordinary objects, but it cannot create essence. It can build the most elegant and expensive watch in the world, a device capable of measuring every fraction of a moment with astonishing precision. Yet that watch cannot create time. It cannot shape the rhythm of existence or unveil the mystery that flows through every second. Time belongs to a realm untouched by human instruments and its depth continues to stand beyond scientific reach. Science can design the most comfortable bed, equipped with every feature that supports rest and tracks sleep. Yet such a bed cannot produce a single dream. Science can create a phone filled with remarkable abilities, capable of connecting continents in an instant. It can carry voices, images, memories and messages, but it cannot create the warm joy that comes from speaking with someone who truly lives in the heart. It cannot generate affection, tenderness or the spark of genuine connection. Science makes communication faster, yet it does not create relationships. It builds devices, not love. In the field of health, science has achieved wonders. It can heal serious diseases, replace organs, renew blood and extend human life. Yet even with all its progress, science cannot grant immortality. It strengthens the body, but it cannot create compassion, courage or wisdom. The journey of the soul remains far beyond the reach of any medical instrument. Science answers the question of how. How the planets move, how matter behaves, how natural processes unfold. Yet science does not answer why. Why we exist, why we love, why we suffer, why the human heart continually searches for meaning. These questions belong to reflection, philosophy, spirituality and inner experience. Human life cannot be fully contained within laboratories, equations and data. Spiritual traditions guide the human heart toward morality and purpose. Philosophy deepens understanding and reveals new ways of seeing reality. Personal experience gives life richness and meaning. Science and spirituality are not enemies. They are two complementary paths, each illuminating a different side of truth. Therefore the belief that science is the final truth is incomplete. Truth is like an endless ocean, while science is one of its flowing currents. Only when all currents are embraced can the full ocean be understood. Science deserves admiration but it is not all knowing. Human existence extends far beyond what instruments can measure. Feelings, consciousness, values, love and the search for meaning are the hidden stars of human life. Through the light of these inner stars, a human being finally glimpses the complete face of truth.
